N2 Women is a community for researchers in the communications and networking research fields whose main goal is to foster connections among the under-represented women in computer networking and related research fields. Over 100 nominators submitted nominations for this list, and many of them submitted several names. As mentioned in N2 Women website: “The women nominated have all had impact on our field, early in their careers”.
Jelena recently defended her Ph.D. Thesis titled “Resource Allocation in Wireless Networks: Theory and Applications”. While studying towards the Ph.D., Jelena received the Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship, the GENI GREE’13 Best Educational Paper Award, the Millman Award for an Outstanding Teaching Assistant, the Columbia University Electrical Engineering Master’s Award of Excellence, and was selected to participate in the MIT EECS 2015 Rising Stars workshop.
