EE Undergraduate student Margherita Firenze received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF-GRFP) which provides three years of funding for graduate students.
Margherita is a member of the Structure Function Imaging Laboratory led by Prof. Christine Hendon, and she will be starting her PhD at MIT in the EECS (Electrical Engineering & Computer Science) department. Her research interests include developing new computer vision and image processing tools for medical imaging.
