2021 EE/CE Graduate Student Orientation

It was so exciting to see our incoming EE/CE Graduate students in person! Over 250 incoming EE/CE Graduate students participated in the EE/CE Graduate Student Orientation on September 8, 2021. 

Due to on-campus Covid-19 requirements, students were separated in groups and the event was hosted outdoors at Ancell Plaza. Students had the opportunity to meet with EE/CE professors, current students, and student group leaders.

John Kymissis, Department Chair, welcomed students to campus and encouraged them to take advantage of what Columbia has to offer.

The Orientation program concluded with one-on-one socially distanced meetings for new students and their faculty advisors—as well as the opportunity to see the electrical engineering labs.
