Students in CLUE and Analog and RF IC Research Lab (Kinget Group) Win Best Poster Awards

Three students in the Columbia Lab for Unconventional Electronics headed by Prof. Ioannis (John) Kymissis and the Analog and RF IC Research Lab (Kinget Group) headed by Prof. Peter Kinget have won best poster awards at recent conferences.

Fabio Carta

Fabio Carta won the second place best poster award at the 2013 Global Interposer Technology (GIT) Workshop held at Georgia Tech for his poster "Excimer Laser Crystallized Silicon for BEOL 3D Integration." Fabio's work was coadvised by Prof. James Im from the APAM Department.

Shyuan Yang

Shyuan Yang and Chengrui Le won the second place best poster award at the 2014 FlexTech conference for their poster "MetaCapacitor: Large Area, Low Cost, High Performance Capacitor for Power Electronics." This project was coadvised by Prof. Peter Kinget.
