On Sept. 3, ELEN E1201 was listed as one of only four specific university courses recommended for first-year students. The course was developed by Prof. Tsividis in the 1990s (as described here), and continues to incorporate his widely popular laboratory manual, "A First Lab in Circuits and Electronics". Professor Vallancourt has been giving E1201 his unique spin since 2005, bringing the lectures to life with dissected iPhones, electric guitars, and other real-world embodiments of each principle covered.
