Wei (Vivian) Jiang
I am pursuing my Ph.D. degree in the Electrical Engineering Department
of Columbia University, New York, NY. I got my B.S. and M.S. in 2002 and 2005,
respectively, both from the Automation Department of Tsinghua University in China.
I had worked for IBM T.J. Watson and Eastman Kodak Company as a summer intern in
2008 and 2007, respectively. I also had been a visiting student in Microsoft Research
Asia from 2003 to 2005.
My main research interests are content-based image and video indexing, retrieval
and management, image analysis, and machine learning.
I am currently working with Professor
Shih-Fu Chang studying semantic concept classification
with cross-modality learning, cross-concept learning, and cross-domain learning.
