Research Interests

My research is broadly in the algorithms and optimization of communication & computation networks. In today's world of IoT and Big Data, we are witnessing the expansion of wireless networks and data centers at a large scale. My research group is working on creating highly scalable and efficient algorithms that facilitate collection, communication, and processing of data in these networks in real time. Two instances of my research include: design of medium access algorithms for high-throughput low-delay data delivery in large wireless networks, and scheduling algorithms that efficiently utilize the data center resources to speed up data processing (batch processing, machine learning, stream processing) applications.

The techniques in my research include algorithms, optimization, stochastic processes, and machine learning.
