Prof. Krishnaswamy Wins NSF EAGER award

August 28, 2009

Prof. Harish Krishnaswamy has won an NSF EAGER (EArly-concept Grant for Exploratory Research) award to conduct research on ultra-wideband (UWB) millimeter-wave (mmWave) radar and imaging sensors based on compressive sensing. The proposed research aims to bring together the advantages of silicon-based integrated-circuit technology and the power of advanced signal-processing techniques to realize radar and imaging sensors with efficient signal sampling, resulting in higher bandwidths and reduced power consumption. If successful, the exploratory research could lead to transformative changes in important radar and imaging sensor applications including automotive radar, health monitoring, and surveillance.
