Final Examination Preparation

The final will be on Friday December 12th in 644 Mudd, 9:10am to 12 noon.

Your preparation for the final should consist of:

• reading your class notes;
• reviewing your homework assignments and the midterm; and
• reviewing the covered material from the textbook.

The final examination will be with closed books. No notes or other aids are allowed. Also, calculators or computing devices of any kind are not allowed.

The material to be convered in the final will consist of Chapters 1-7 of the textbook, except from Sections 3.12 (Decimal Arithmetic) and 6.10 (VLSI Programmable Logic Devices).

The style of the exam will be similar to the midterm. There will be several questions of varying difficulty (several easy ones, a few of average difficulty, and perhaps one that requires a particularly good insight into what we have covered in the class).
