Muamer Lihic

Muamer Lihic is the Director of Finance and Administration in the department of Electrical Engineering. As a senior administrative and financial officer he oversees financial and administrative operations of the department and provides active, hands-on leadership of the department’s financial activities, including budgeting and financial planning, expense reconciliation, internal controls, and policies development and implementation. Muamer also leads the department's human resources and student and faculty affairs, including the recruitment, onboarding, staff training, coaching, counseling and team-building within the administrative staff. 

Muamer has more than 16 years of Columbia University experience in various financial and administrative roles on Morningside and CUMC campuses. He holds a Master's degree (MPA '11) from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and a Bachelor's Degree from SUNY in Business Administration.
