Machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, computer vision, and pattern recognition with

special interests in distance metric learning, sparse learning, semi-supervised learning, active learning,

large-scale learning, data dimension reduction, graph mining, time series modelling, learning to rank,

hashing, image/video retrieval, web image search, image/video super-resolution, image/video annotation,

and face recognition.
