see also this overview of the book chapters in the textbook.
Design tools
Computer-aided analysis techniques are extensively used. The latest industry-grade CAD tools and simulation tools are used in this class. See the Design Tools page.
Textbook:
The course is based on a combination of instructor's notes, technical papers and textbook chapters.
The textbook we will use most is:
- B. Razavi: "RF Microelectronics (2nd edition)" , Prentice Hall, 2011.
see also this overview of the book chapters in the textbook.
We will often refer to the following textbook as well:
- T. Lee: "The design of CMOS Radio-Frequency Integrated Circuits" , 2nd edition, Cambridge University Press, 2004.
Check the Textbook section for a list of other RFIC related textbooks which have been placed on reserve in the library for this course.
