Dear CRAC authors and interested people - 

Thank you for your submitted papers.  I have checked that all of the files
I have received are well formed.  If you have sent me a paper but have NOT
received an acknowledgment from me, please let me know as soon as possible.

For the few authors who have yet to send me their papers and who I have not 
spoken to, please reply immediately telling me when the papers will be ready. 

WEB-ACESSIBLE PAPERS

I plan to link all the final papers to the program on the CRAC website, 

  http://www.ee.columbia.edu/crac/program.html

Please let me know if you do NOT want me to post your paper prior to
the workshop (e.g. because of a pending patent application).
Otherwise, I will make the links over the weekend.

LOCATION

The workshop will be held in the Musiksalen, which is one of the main 
Eurospeech oral session rooms, shown by the "Oral Sessions" arrow on the 
map at http://eurospeech2001.org/information/venue.html .

REGISTRATION FEE, REFRESHMENTS AND PROCEEDINGS

There will be a registration fee for participants in the workshop.  This 
will cover renting the room, lunch and refreshments during the day, and a 
copy of the printed proceedings.  The fee will be around 450 DKK (US$53). 

We are investigating whether we can use the conference credit card 
facilities, but failing that we will be collecting the registration fee in 
cash (Danish Kronor) at the door, for which we will provide receipts.  
Our apologies if this is inconvenient.

HOW TO REGISTER

Please send me email before *Friday August 10th* if you will be attending. 
We need to have a participants list in advance, and will not be able to
register new participants on the day of the workshop.  Likewise, your
intent to participate is a commitment to pay the registration fee.

When email registration is complete, I will confirm the final registration 
fee, so you know how much money to bring.

NON-PRESENTING PARTICIPANTS

We have the space to include a small number of participants in addition to
the paper presenters, while still keeping to the target size of about 40
people.  If you or someone you know would like to attend, please send me
email indicating your wish to register (regardless of any previous
exchanges).  I will let you know immediately if the workshop has filled up.

    this weekend.
