Assistant Professor Christine Hendon has received the 2015 Rodriguez Family Junior Faculty Development Award at the School of Engineering and Applied Science. The Rodriguez Family award was founded by SEAS alumna Ana Rodriguez (SEAS 1986 and 1988) and her brother Marcos (SEAS 1983) to support and recognize the achievements of under-represented junior faculty. Since her arrival in 2012, Christine has established herself as a pioneering thinker in the field of medical imaging and cardiocare, culminating most recently with her winning the New Innovator Award from the National Institutes of Health.
