Prof. Chang's team has been granted a 3-year research award from Office of Naval Research with funding of $750,000. The goal of the project is to harness the synergistic powers of graph-based representations and semi-supervised learning to develop robust, efficient, and scalable solutions suitable for applications critical for Naval operations, such as rapid target annotation, information triage, and multimedia retrieval from hybrid, unreliable sources.
