Undergraduate Program

Our department offers undergraduate programs in Electrical Engineering and, jointly with the Computer Science Department, Computer Engineering . Both programs are designed to prepare students for a career in industry or further study by providing a thorough foundation of the fundamental concepts and analytical tools of the field. In either program, a wide range of elective courses permits the student to emphasize specific disciplines while still maintaining breadth. Undergraduates in either program can also potentially participate in research projects with the faculty.

Masters Program

Our department also offers Master's Programs in Electrical Engineering and, jointly with the Computer Science Department, Computer Engineering . Our Master's level programs permit the graduate student to further specialize their knowledge and skills within a wide range of disciplines.

Professional Degree

The professional degree in electrical engineering is intended to provide specialization beyond the level of the M.S. degree, in a focused area of electrical engineering selected to meet the professional objectives of the candidate. Overview information can be found in the bulletin.

Ph.D Program

The Ph.D. and Eng.Sc.D Electrical Engineering programs are for those interested in pursuing a career in teaching or research. They offer the opportunity to conduct research under faculty supervision.
