The schedule of a typical orientation program for incoming Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering graduate students appears below. The program is usually scheduled around the end of August; we encourage the participation of all new students!

Other Resources
A lot of useful information about how to obtain a UNI, register for courses, etc., can be found on the school's New Student page. In particular, there is a detailed Guide for New Graduate Students that includes a new student checklist that everyone should check.
Useful information for course planning can be found on the department's EE course flowcharts page. Please carefully check the requirements for your program on the corresponding page: EE MS program (in particular, see the MS Checklist), Computer Engineering MS program, Professional program, Doctoral program.
Students looking for part-time work may apply for an EE grader or MS-TA position. Details and a simple application form can be found on the Jobs for Students page.
MS students are assigned temporary advisors by research area when they arrive, but can consult with any of the MS program advisors as they progress through the program.
Note that information in official sources such as the school bulletin takes precedence over conflicting information that may appear in the above overview slides.
