Ph.D. Candidate Anandaroop Chakrabarti Wins 2013 IEEE MTT-S Graduate Fellowship

April 16, 2013

Anandaroop Chakrabarti, a Ph.D. candidate with Assistant Professor Harish Krishnaswamy of the Columbia high-Speed and MmWave IC (CoSMIC) Lab, is one of eight students chosen this year from an international pool of applicants for the prestigious IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society's Graduate Fellowship. The winning proposal intends to address and resolve the challenges associated with architectures and integrated circuits for linearized, watt-class, high efficiency millimeter-wave transmitters in CMOS technology. Potential applications of the work include high data rate wireless links for telecommunications backhaul and satellite communications.

Anandaroop will be attending the 2013 IEEE International Microwave Symposium in Seattle where he will receive his award.

Congratulations, Anandaroop!
