Tenure-Track Faculty Positions (2008-09)
The Department of Electrical Engineering at Columbia University, in the City of New York invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions. Primary attention will be given to appointments at the Assistant Professor level, however senior appointments may be possible in exceptional cases. Areas of interest include computer engineering, computer networking and communications, nanoscale materials and devices, and systems biology and other research at the interface of electrical engineering and the life sciences. Candidates must have a PhD degree and are expected to establish a strong research program and excel in teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses. The Department is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
