Undergraduate Program
Our department offers in undergraduate programs in
Electrical Engineering
and, jointly with the Computer Science Department,
Computer Engineering
.
Both programs are designed to prepare students for a career in industry or further
study by providing a thorough foundation of the fundamental concepts and analytical
tools of the field. In either program, a wide range of elective courses permits the
student to emphasize specific disciplines while still maintaining breadth. Undergraduates
in either program have an opportunity to learn about current research activities by
participating in
research projects with the faculty.
Masters Program
Our department also offers Master's Programs in
Electrical Engineering
and, jointly with the Computer Science Department,
Computer Engineering
.
Our Master's level programs permit the graduate student to further specialize
their knowledge and skills within a wide range of disciplines.
Professional Degree
The professional degree in electrical engineering is intended to
provide specialization beyond the level of the M.S. degree, in a
focused area of electrical engineering selected to meet the
professional objectives of the candidate. Overview information can be found in the
bulletin.Ph.D Program
The
Ph.D. and Eng.Sc.D Electrical Engineering programs are for those interested in pursuing a career in
teaching or research. They offer the opportunity to conduct research under
faculty supervision.
