Assistant Professor, Media arts and Computing
Hari graduated with a Ph.D. from the Electrical Engineering department in 2002. His research has won awards from the IEEE and ACM. He was the Jury Award winner for the academic year 2001-2002 during his stay at Columbia University. Currently he works as an Assistant Professor in Arts and Media Engineering at Arizona State University.
Hari works on computational problems related to mediated cyber-physical systems, with applications to rehabilitation, as well in understanding human activity (group emergence, information flow and tagging) in online social networks.
