We enthusiastically welcome Dr. Gil Zussman, who will join the EE Department as an Assistant Professor. Gil received his Ph.D. from the Technion in 2004. Since then, he has been a posdoc at MIT and a research fellow at the Technion. His research interests are in the area of computer networks. In particular, he is interested in the design and performance evaluation of protocols for wireless and mobile networks, including ad hoc, mesh, sensor, vehicular, and cognitive radio networks. His group is focusing on designing architectures and distributed algorithms that take into account cross layer considerations.
