Prof. Chang to Take Part in DARPA Video Retrieval Research

Prof. Chang is part of a large consortium involving 10 companies and universities to build revolutionary video analyst systems. The project, supported by a DARPA
$6.7M contract, will leverage promising progresses in video
analysis, computer vision, and content-based retrieval in an integrated
system that will filter and prioritize massive amounts of life video feeds and archived video. The resulting systems will have great impact on
video-centric applications and decision making processes in critical
domains of intelligence and security.
