Profs. Krishnaswamy and Kinget win $1.66M DARPA grant

Prof. Harish Krishnaswamy and Prof. Peter Kinget have been awarded a 3-year $1.66M grant in collaboration with UT-Austin (lead institution) under the DARPA CLASIC program. The goal of CLASIC is to enable monolithic, high performance, ultra high energy efficiency, signal-recognition integrated circuits (ICs) for next-generation microsystems in areas such as cognitive wireless communications and radar. Profs. Kinget and Krishnaswamy will be exploring novel RF/mmWave, analog, and mixed-signal receiver architectures towards this goal. Their research effort is funded at $1.1M over the 3-year program.
