Prof. Chang's team wins ONR Research Grant

Prof. Chang's team has been granted a 3-year research award from Office
of Naval Research with funding of $750,000. The goal of the project is
to harness the synergistic powers of graph-based representations and
semi-supervised learning to develop robust, efficient, and scalable
solutions suitable for applications critical for Naval operations, such
as rapid target annotation, information triage, and multimedia
retrieval from hybrid, unreliable sources. More information can be
