Prof. Shih-Fu Chang has been awarded the 2011 ACM Special Interest
Group on Multimedia (SIGMM) award for Outstanding Technical
Contributions to Multimedia Computing, Communications, and
Applications to recognize his "pioneering research and inspiring
contributions in multimedia analysis and retrieval." More information
